WHAT IS CELLFINA®?
Cellfina® is the minimally invasive cellulite treatment intended for long-term improvement in the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thigh areas of adult females, with proven results that last for years.
CAUSES OF CELLULITE
Cellulite is a medical condition affecting over 85% of women.
It is caused by fibrous connective tissue bands called septae that are located just beneath the surface of the skin. These bands are woven throughout the fat in the buttocks and thighs and pull down on the skin's surface, creating the puckering effect often described as dimples, cottage cheese, and orange peel. By releasing these dimples, the cellulite is effectively treated and the outer skin can return to a smooth surface.
Due to its underlying structural cause, cellulite is seen on women of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. Many women are relieved when they learn that cellulite is not their fault and is not caused by anything that they did or did not do.

HOW DOES CELLFINA® WORK?
Cellfina® is a one-time cellulite treatment performed at a doctor’s office in less than an hour. Results can be seen in as little as 3 days, and 100% of follow up patients still saw noticeable results 5 years after their one-time treatment.
AN EFFECTIVE CELLULITE SOLUTION
Cellfina® treats the underlying cause of cellulite dimples by releasing tethered fibrous septae bands. Using Tissue Stabilized-Guided Subcision, Cellfina® can precisely target the bands that are pulling down on the outer surface of the skin. Similar to a rubber band under tension, once the bands are released, the skin bounces back to smooth itself out.
AM I A CANDIDATE?
Maybe you’ve tried creams, lotions, wraps, massage or lasers. Those temporary remedies might address other factors such as skin laxity or stretch marks caused by weight fluctuations, but they cannot address the septae bands which are the root cause of cellulite dimples. This is why so many women feel defeated. They have tried countless other ``remedies`` only to be disappointed over and over again. But Cellfina is a long-lasting, effective treatment for cellulite dimples.
The Cellfina® Treatment works for patients that fit the following criteria:
- 35–55-year-old females with cellulite on the thigh and/or buttocks area
- Stubborn dimples that just won’t go away
- A Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18 and 35

HOW DOES THE CELLFINA® TREATMENT WORK?
The Cellfina® Treatment treats the primary structural cause of cellulite—the connective fibrous septae bands woven throughout fat in the thighs and buttocks. These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the dimpling you see on the surface of the skin. Similar to a rubber band under tension, once released, the treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out.
Before your treatment, schedule a one-on-one consultation with a Cellfina® provider to determine if you are a candidate for treatment.
DURING THE TREATMENT
Cellfina® is a single, 45–60-minute treatment performed in an office setting. First, cellulite dimples are marked. Next, the physician delivers a local numbing agent for a comfortable treatment. Cellfina's vacuum guidance system lifts the dimpled skin with precision, and the septae fibers directly under the dimple are released. After treatment, patients should take it easy for the first 24 hours but can continue to go about their day.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
The most common side effects are soreness, tenderness and bruising. Downtime is minimal, most patients return to normal activity within 24 hours. Your physicians will inform you on all necessary pre- and post-treatment instructions.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE IMPROVEMENTS?
Just one 45-60-minute Cellfina® Treatment significantly improves the appearance of cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. Results can be seen in as little as 3 days!
IS CELLFINA® SURGERY?
Cellfina® does not involve an operating room or general anesthesia. It relies on a minimally invasive, small, needle-sized device to treat the cellulite-causing bands just beneath the surface of the skin.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
The Cellfina® Treatment result is a smoother look that gives patients confidence no matter what they are wearing. Patients in the clinical study showed noticeable improvement in as little as 3 days1, and 100% of patients in a follow-up study still showed noticeable improvements 5 years after their one-time treatment2.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
There have been no serious adverse events associated with the Cellfina® Treatment. The most common side effects reported by patients in the US FDA-cleared clinical study were soreness, tenderness and bruising. Just three days after treatment, patients rated their pain as minimal and most (82%) felt pain only with touch or pressure to the treated area. This minimal pain improved quickly with time, and over 90% of patients had no bruising at four weeks1.

WILL I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF?
